Notice is hereby given that Sealed bids the following project, will be received by the Board of Supervisors of
Lafayette County, Mississippi in the Boardroom of the Lafayette County Chancery Building, Oxford, Mississippi,
until 10:00 a.m., Thursday June 1, 2023 and shortly thereafter they will be publicly opened and recorded for the
following project:

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 for electronic files or $150.00 for each hardcopy set is required. Bid preparation will be
in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Project Manual. Bids will be awarded to the lowest and best
acceptable bidder, except that the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form published in the Contract Documents.
Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor’s current Certificate of Responsibility
Number and the Contractor’s License Number unless a statement on the exterior says the bid enclosed is less than
or does not exceed $50,000.00. Envelope containing bids must be sealed, marked and addressed with the Project
Name as shown above. Bids should be filed electronically at www.lafayettemsbids.com or submitted to the
Chancery Clerk at 300 N Lamar Blvd, Oxford, MS.
A Pre-Bid meeting including the prospective bidder’s opportunity to visit the site is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on
Wednesday May 24, 2023 at the Lafayette County Courthouse. Attendance is not mandatory to submit a bid but
lack of information that otherwise would have been available from having made a site inspection will not be
reason for change requests for the successful bidder.
